An Italian Cakes Special Workshop – Sunday, 2 August 2020

Due to the recent government restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, this class has been rescheduled for Sunday, 2 August 2020.

This workshop was originally scheduled for Friday, 8 May and titled ‘A Mother’s Day Special’. It was planned to celebrate being a mum or having a mum with a High Tea workshop where sponge cake & scones plus more would be baked. Well, Mother’s Day is over, but we can still celebrate Mother’s in high tea style! I have changed this class a little – we will still bake scones, however, I will share my love of Italian cakes as well. We will bake a sponge cake, however, it will become a moist panna cotta sponge cake. We will also bake a traditional Calabrese ‘Torta di Mele e Ricotta’ (Apple & Ricotta cake) to showcase glorious winter seasonal apples. It will be a lovely day of baking Italian torte (and scones). There is only one spot left for this class.
